President Barack Obama

American people, it is essential that we band together as Americans to celebrate the importance of the middle class and to send a message to our politicians about building strength for our economy. America has been poised as the worlds number one super power for decades. Today, we run the risk of slipping to number two while China roars into first place. We must take our country back from the misguided politicians who have failed to deliver on their promises.

In the past ten years, corporate America has been increasingly aggressive in shipping production jobs overseas. Some 98 percent of production performed for corporate America is now performed outside of the United States. During this same time period, weve seen a historic decline in the stock market, a housing crisis, increasing reports of corruption on Wall Street and job losses unlike those sustained in the past five decades.

As the middle class shrinks, more and more American are losing their livelihoods. American families are at risk of losing all their hard-earned assets and becoming homeless. As we face this situation, we ask our fellow Americans to join hands with us and force our politicians to listen. We demand that our politicians stop caving into lobbyist pressure to protect companies that ship jobs to China and other foreign countries.

We can even the playing field by raising tariffs on goods coming into the U.S. Its time to protect and enforce the Robinson Act, which is designed to keep jobs in the U.S. Companies who choose to give Americans jobs should be afforded greater protections than those companies that choose to ship jobs overseas.

The New York Times once quoted President Obama as saying, "Lets give a tax break to companies who will bring production back to the U.S." While the statement sounds nice, the truth is that big corporations are making a killing with offshore production. In order to bring strength back to our economy, we must work together to see the Robinson Act enforced.

We have banded together to ask President Obama why we should vote him in for a second term when his first term has seen historic job losses and an inflation reminiscent of the Great Depression. During his first term, the middle class has not grown. Instead, the middle class has lost ground.

We applaud MBL Jeans, American Pride, for ensuring that all production occurs right here in the U.S. MBL Jeans is proud to give Americans jobs and to use recycled denim in production. MBL Jeans. We hope youll stand with us in our fight to bring production back to the U.S.A.
