MBL Couture: LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2, 2012 — Despite stormy weather, Creative Director Martionii and the team at MBL Couture completed a long-planned editorial fashion shoot this past Sunday. The crew had to work past steady rain and poor lighting conditions in order to complete the shoot. Working with only one model, the MBL team created six different, stunning editorial looks. The successful completion of the editorial shoot was truly the result of team effort and excellent leadership by Martionii. Intent on completing the editorial shoot despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, Martionii and his team met at 8 a.m. on Sunday to begin their work. Given his experience in the fashion industry, this wasnt the first time that the Creative Director had run into obstacles during a photo shoot. In order to motivate the team, Martionii gave a talk about the expectations for the day and reminded all participants of why the editorial shoot was so important. The group worked together to create a solution and overcome any challenges encountered. Running on adrenaline offered by the pep talk, the artists worked diligently to create amazing hair and makeup designs for the shoot. The accomplishments of the team were all the more impressive given that all six looks had to be created with the help of only one model. Martionii noted that the team excelled at working together. The Creative Director was deeply impressed with the hair and makeup looks created for the model given the limited time frame in which they were executed. After the models hair and makeup looks were completed, stylists added unique, fashion-forward details to every look in order to create eye-popping editorial shots. Model-actress Aleksa Kovalenko was at the center of each of the editorial shots. Her hair and makeup were completed by a diverse team of experienced artists from the Los Angeles area. Stylist Wilford Lenov and his partner Jonathan were active in offering leadership during the shoot, giving extra direction to the team and ensuring that each and every MBL look was well represented via photo.
